Degree Plans

The GMLN degree plan will show you up front what courses you will get credit for, and what you need to graduate, based on your military training. 

Program name, military branch, award type, and description of bridge.

Estimate of credits granted for eligible military occupation education and training, and estimate of credits you would need to take to graduate.

Military occupation and/or JST program number the bridge was created for.

Total number of credits needed to complete the award. This may vary, but general credit estimates are:

    • Bachelor's degree: 120 credits
    • Associate degree: 60 credits
    • Diploma: 45 credits
    • Certificate: 20 credits

Name, location, and contact information of the college or university providing the transfer credit specified in the degree plan.

Transfer Credits Granted: Courses that credit would be awarded for based on the specified military occupation.

Courses Required to Graduate: Courses that you would need to take to complete the award. Additional credit may be awarded for other prior coursework.

Details about additional sources of transfer credits and the number of credits that would need to be taken from the receiving institution to earn the award.
