This 60-credit Associate of Science (AS) degree includes a broad base of general education courses. Military students are awarded up to 10 elective credits. Students gain a strong professional foundation with college-level classes in various disciplines, including writing, public speaking, biology, chemistry, algebra, statistics, general psychology, sociology, or other general courses.

This GMLN Military Bridge Program is offered to members of the United States military who have completed training at the Medical Education and Training Campus (METC) in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. It is a transfer agreement between METC and Northwest Technical College.

Some credits may require completion of a course exam with a score of at least 70%, see Degree Plan for details. Credit determinations were made using current curriculum course dates. For questions, please contact Northwest Technical College or Request Info for review of your training. To earn a degree from one of our Minnesota State colleges or universities, a minimum number of credits must be taken through the institution, typically 30 credits for bachelor's degrees, 15 credits for associate degrees, and 1/3 of the total credits for diplomas and certificates. Some programs may vary. Additional college credit may be granted for other military courses with a Joint Service Transcript (JST) or Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) Transcript, courses from other colleges/universities upon review of an official transcript, and ACE Military Guide recommendations.
