This rigorous 30 credit certificate prepares students with the top-notch skills they need to evaluate, secure, and remediate at-risk computer and networked systems. Graduates are prepared for employment in computer security related careers, including cybersecurity, network security, information assurance, and incident investigation, all high demand fields. This program is available completely online.

This GMLN Military Bridge Program is offered to members of the United States Army who have completed training at the Army Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia. It is a transfer agreement between CCoE and Alexandria Technical & Community College (ATCC).

*Upon verification of eligibility, active military or veterans will be granted up to 20 credits for their military coursework and training. Some credits may require completion of a course exam with a score of at least 70%, see Degree Plan for details. Credit determinations were made using current curriculum course dates. For questions, please contact Alexandria Technical & Community College or Request Info for review of your training. To earn a degree from one of our Minnesota State colleges or universities, a minimum number of credits must be taken through the institution, typically 30 credits for bachelor's degrees, 15 credits for associate degrees, and 1/3 of the total credits for diplomas and certificates. Some programs may vary. Additional college credit may be granted for other military courses with a Joint Service Transcript (JST) or Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) Transcript, courses from other colleges/universities upon review of an official transcript, and ACE Military Guide recommendations.
