The Liberal Arts & Sciences Associate of Arts (AA) degree is a 60-credit degree that is intended for students who plan to transfer to another public or private institution to complete a bachelor's degree. The degree is designed to satisfy the first two years of a bachelor's degree and includes the entire 40-credit Minnesota Transfer Curriculum. ATCC's AA degree gives students a unique opportunity to explore career and technical courses in the educational program.
This GMLN Military Bridge Program is offered to all USMC personnel who have completed MCMAP and one of the eligible Military Occupational Specialty trainings.
For individuals who also completed the following courses in the Marine Corps University Course Series, you are eligible for an additional 15 credits:
5111 Fundamentals of Writing & Editing
5112 Critical Reading
5113 Analytical Writing
6100 Communication
6200 Marine Corps Doctrine
6300 Profession of Arms
6400 Leadership Philosophy
6500 or 6600 Battle Study Elective

To earn a degree from Alexandria Technical & Community College (ATCC), a minimum of 15 credits must be taken through ATCC. Additional college credit may be granted for other military courses with a Joint Service Transcript (JST) or Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) Transcript, courses from other colleges/universities upon review of an official transcript, and ACE Military Guide recommendations.
